The Alumni Association is in the planning stages of updating and preserving Burke’s Hall of Champions! (The trophy hallway in front of the gym with championship and all-state pics).
While at Burke today, we came across this pic tucked in a trophy case.
Does anyone know what year this baseball team was, and if they won a championship?

That is our State Championship team in 2000!
I heard that when they remolded lots were taken down and only some were found. I know I have one of mine because the kids I coached stole it off the wall!! But they are so out of order and lots missing. I hope they get them organized. I would be happy to help!
They still don’t have my picture up when I was all-state 2000.
YES! A school record for the most student athletes to date being in the top 25% of their class academically!
Way to go, #FutureBurkeAlumni 🖤💛Announcing our 23-24 Metro Scholar Athletes! These student athletes are in the Top 25% of the senior class CONGRATULATIONS BULLDOGS! It will be published in the Omaha World Herald in May.
This is the highest number of student athletes to date. Proud of you!
