Celebrating Coach Rich Hood 💛🖤
For 40 incredible years (1979–2019), Coach Rich Hood dedicated himself to Burke students and swimmers, positively impacting generations of Bulldogs. Through his leadership, kindness, and commitment to young people, Rich helped shape countless lives both in and out of the classroom and pool.
Today, Rich is courageously battling an aggressive form of Parkinson’s disease. As his birthday approaches next month, we'd love to help celebrate the tremendous impact he has had on so many lives. If Rich made a difference in your journey, please consider sending a video message, note, or memory that can be shared with him.

This weekend, Rich's wife, Carmen, and current Burke Swim Coach RJ Lebbert will also host an open house, giving former swimmers an opportunity to visit, share memories, and thank Rich for the lasting impact he has made on the Burke community.
