Parents and Seniors: Would you like to submit a 2020 Burke Graduate to be in the spotlight?
Future plans: I plan to continue to further my education at Florida Elite Preparatory College in Orlando Florida with a focus on personal finance. I also plan to further my modeling and acting pursuits , beginning with a trip at the end of July to Ontario Canada With the TN Model and Talent Company.
School Involvement: Burke High Football 2018 Championship.
Favorite Memory/Tradition: My favorite memories were being surrounded by the entire football team chanting and getting ready for the games.
Teacher Shout-out: Mr. McBride for being so chill and Mrs. Lugwin for always being so transparent with the students. And last but not least, coach Lumangi for all of his determination and leadership in making sure we gave our best both on and off the field.
Hobbies/Interests: I love to go go fishing every chance I get especially when I get the chance to visit my family in Florida. It is so relaxing to look out over the ocean and just be at peace.
Future plans: Attend the HBCU Lincoln University in Jeff. City, MO. All while majoring in Chemistry with a minor in African American studies. Also, be happy with myself at all costs.
School Involvement: Burke T&F (3 years), Burke Drill team (1 year), Burke Ambassadors (2 years), Culinary Club (1 year)
Favorite Memory/Tradition: Diversity assembly during Black History Month.
Teacher Shout-out: Mrs. Cunningham, Ms. Rosenberg, Miss Christensen, Mr. Schmidt, Mr. Siecke, Mrs. Hamik, Mrs. Wilson, Mrs. Hart, Mrs. Osborne and so many more that contributed to my high school career!
Hobbies/Interests: Painting and binge watching shows on Netflix
Future plans: Attending UNL next fall, majoring in Anthropology and minoring in Archaeology.
School Involvement: Varsity Swimming (captain), JV/Varsity Soccer, National Honors Society, and Student Council.
Favorite Memory/Tradition: Swim season; getting to experience her last swim season with some of her favorite people.
Teacher Shout-out: Loved all her teachers throughout her high school career, but here’s a special shoutout to Mr. Razor, Ms. Boltinghouse, Ms. McNair, Ms. Osborne, and Ms. Ward.
Hobbies/Interests: Hanging out with her lovely friends, listening to music, showing off her artsy side every once and awhile, watching lots and lots of movies/shows, swimming, playing soccer, traveling, going to target, and making avocado toast.
Future plans: Attending UNO to study Journalism and Media Communication
School Involvement: I was involved in book club, band, theatre, and choir.
Favorite Memory/Tradition: Football games with the Pep Band/Marching Band.

Hobbies/Interests: Reading, singing, watching TV shows and movies, and listening to lots of music.
Future plans: Attend the University of South Dakota to major in nursing.
