Here is a recent article from the Omaha World Herald about 2 outstanding JROTC Bulldogs - Jenna Crippen and Michael Steinhoff are 2 of just 27 students IN THE NATION to receive this prestigious JROTC award! WOW! Both plan to use their experience from Burke's JROTC program in future military careers.

Here is one of the 2025 Burke Alumni Hall of Fame Honorees, Dr. Neal Grandgenett - Class of 1976.
Neal and the other inductees toured Burke and were very impressed. Next to Neal’s picture is the email Neal sent to Principal Rasmussen (posted with permission).

6-7!! If you know, you know. If you don’t- look it up and you’ll probably shake your head, but just remember the sayings and such from your youth and how adults didn’t “get it” then!
